Engineering Center

The primary task of the Hutchinson R&D Center is to develop new, highly innovative, often patent-eligible, products and processes in close collaboration with the industrial units.

The R&D Center carries on research for all of Hutchinson's business lines. Such research ranges from study of materials and their behavior during processing to 3-D analysis of finished products.

The formulation, blending and shaping of elastomers are intense areas of research that continue to advance through the employment of modern measuring methods and calculation processes.
