Avionics Racking Systems
Barry Controls Avionics Racking Systems, ARS, is a recognized leader in the design, analysis, manufacture and qualification of trays, racking systems and associated hardware for the installation of electronics and avionics in the commercial and defense industries. Over the past 50 years, Barry Controls has developed an extensive library of product designs and capabilities to support and protect sensitive electronics and avionics in harsh environments in rotary wing, fixed wing, land-based and marine vehicles. These racking systems incorporate shock and vibration isolation, structural damping, heat management, wiring, connectors and composite elements. Barry Controls also has an extensive library of trays and hardware meeting the ARINC 404A and ARINC 600 standards.
Barry Controls engineers can develop and design a full range of avionic trays and hardware in accordance with international standards as ARINC 404A, ARINC 600, ARINC 650 and MIL STD 810 and MIL-C-172. Applications extend from commercial including EGPWS, TCAS, SATCOM, INR and IFE to defense-related product lines for JTIDS, MIDS, JTRS, MS, NAS and DOD-STD-1788 and MS14108 standard hardware. CATIA for design along with in-house developed software for dynamics modeling and structural analysis and extensive environmental and dynamic test facilities enable our engineers to work with customers to meet their specifications and qualify the product within our AS9100-certified facilities
